This utterly beautiful original Art Deco 1920s solitaire engagement ring features a gorgeous plump Old Mine Cut Diamond to the centre in a classic claw and basket setting. Each shoulder is set with three Single Cut Diamonds with engraved lines to the band.
Made in Platinum.
The central Old Mine Cut Diamond has a wonderful cushion shape and is a beautifully bright and clear Diamond with the softest hint of warmth of colour but facing up very white. These rare hand-cut antique Diamonds were cut for maximum Carat weight in a time before modern Diamond cutting machinery. They were also cut before Diamonds were graded on whiteness and were made to come alive by candlelight, having wider facets and a higher crown than modern stones. Old Cuts have their own unique charm which cannot be replicated in modern stones.
The central Diamond has a known weight of 1.66 Carat. L Colour and SI1 Clarity. Accompanied by an E.D.R Certificate. The shoulder Diamonds total approximately 0.06 Carat.
The most spectacular and romantic Art Deco ring which would make a perfect engagement ring.
