This exquisite bar brooch by Garrard & Co is a beautiful piece of vintage jewellery history, made in the Art Deco era the brooch comes in it's original Garrard & Co fitted box. Set with a central Old Single Cut Diamond in a bezel setting and mill grain edge. The surround is a stunning pierced and finely detailed panel making up the length of the brooch, this is beautifully studded with an array of Rose Cut Diamonds of varying size. There is so much fine and handcrafted detail to the brooch with every setting finished with mill grain beading and engraving.
Garrard & Co were appointed the Crown Jewellers by Queen Victoria in 1843 serving every subsequent British monarch since. They also created the famous Sapphire and Diamond cluster ring worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.
Made in 18ct White Gold and Platinum. Stamped to the back.
The total Diamond weight is calculated at approximately 0.50 Carat. The Diamonds are very clear and bright stones. The brooch is 3.3cm long. There is a pin fitting to the back with a safety latch to the clasp.
Original Garrard & Co red leather fitted box is included.
