This gorgeous Edwardian ring dates to around 1910 and has a wonderful plump Old Mine Cut Diamond mill grain set to the centre. Surrounded by a square frame of small grain set Old Cut Diamonds, there is a pretty mill grain edge with a lovely pierced basket below leading to the 2mm dainty band.
Made in 18ct Yellow Gold & a Platinum setting. Stamped to the band along with the makers mark D&F for Deakin & Francis a British jewellery manufacturer established in 1786 and still running today, seven generations later!
The central Old Mine Cut Diamond has been calculated in the setting and is estimated to weigh 0.26 Carat. The outer Old Cut Diamonds total approximately 0.14 Carat. SI1 - SI2 Clarity and H - I Colour.
The setting measures 9mm x 8mm.
A wonderful antique piece which would make a lovely engagement or right hand ring. The setting is low and practical and the Diamonds really catch the light beautifully.
